To be clear I don't dispute the rule (having now heard from a few people on the subject), I just think it's a dumb rule. Perhaps the only dumb rule in the game.

I'd like to see the rule changed to what I'm saying, but then again I'd like to fly to Hawaii today and take a three week vacation from work. Don't think either one is happening, though. ;)



If you want to retain control of Cuba, then you can't coup the same turn. You'll have to either coup and (temporarily?) lose control of Cuba, or retain control and use 2+ ops for influence.
