I've played around 30-40 games of TS and not a single one was the USSR near Europe control. Domination for sure. Easy to grab France in the Early War. Italy... sometimes with a 1st turn coup. But USA has always been able to keep one BG.I can see it happen with a ton of luck in USSR hand drawing AND very bad luck on the USA side. But so far it has never happened. Very good luck on the USSR side usually means a turn 2-3 victory with 20VPs. But never Europe control.
Also, if my enemy over-invests in a region, I'm happy to let him dominate if that means I'm getting two other regions for me in exchange XD
