She doesn't just keep doing it if I stop; she is reactive. If i have 4/0 in WG and she spends 3 Ops getting it to 4/2, then I feel bound to use 2 Ops on my next AR to get it to 6/2. If I don't, she'll just either put more in until she controls WG, or drop one in from time to time whilst doing other stuff until she does. Either way, i have to add more inf to WG to balance what she's doing. Europe scoring will almost definitely occur twice even if there's mo End Score.

And abandoning Europe to ger wasxwhat lost me those games I spoke about in my OP.

Btw, i'm now 3-nil US wins in a row, two through Wargames in T8/9 and once because of the CIA Created/DC2 mistake.

So if its 4/0, and she plays three ops to take it to 4/2, you play three ops to make it 7/2. Now you over-control it, and she can't use a 3 ops card; if she uses four ops, she can make it 7/4, but you can use a two ops to make it 9/4 or 8/4 and put the other op somewhere else.

I understand what you mean about being reactive, but you have the advantage because she has two spend 2 ops to break control. I can't see how that could possibly be a winning strategy for her.

However, perhaps you should over-control all your battlegrounds in Europe as a rule of thumb. Start at 4WG/3IT as usual, and as soon as you can put a 5th into WG. Overcontrol should break that habit of hers real quickly.
