Actually, you can do this on one computer by opening up the program twice. Use one as the host, the other as client (you still have to enter your IP address), then just toggle between the two windows to play either side.


I kind of figured that that would work too. I just hadn't tried it.

Glad to hear OP tried it! Don't know why OP would have problems with the IP address. OP, if you have a separate router, then you are on a Private Network. You either have a private address hardcoded to the particular box or are getting one from the router using DHCP.

If you're running Windows, the command ipconfig will show you the address assigned to the box. I think that's all that needs to get stuck into the client dialog.
