Just be happy you weren't hit by Red Scare/Purge AND Bear Trap/Quagmire.

I don't have all the TS cards memorized but are those the ones that make all your opponents cards worth one less Ops point until the end of the turn? So in that case you would not be able to discard any of your 2 Ops cards because they would only be worth 1 Ops each for that? So in theory, with no scoring cards and no 3 Ops or higher in your hand, you could lose a whole turn?

I have played several TS games recently and it seems to me that a lot of times, Bear Trap and Quagmire seem to help you out by letting you dump a few opponent cards before you roll your way out of it. I realize that you do not get to use any of those Ops points for influence or coups but you do get the benefit of not having to play your opponents events so it seems to be kind of a trade off. I certainly understand that it could also work the opposite way and you stick Bear Trap on the USSR player and he has a handful of really good 3 and 4 Ops USSR cards and just can't roll his way out of it and he gets stuck dumping all of his good cards which would be crippling.

What is the highest number of Action Rounds or even Turns that you have stuck an opponent with Bear Trap or Quagmire?
